| I am so excited to be here! |
After taking the night train from Krakow, we arrived at our hotel in Prague at 6:30 AM. What a wonderful surprise it was to find they had breakfast ready for us!
When we were done, we headed out into cold wet weather which, fortunately, improved considerably over the five days we were there.
Here are some places we visited, but what you won't see or hear, unfortunately, is the beautiful music we heard in concerts each evening. Mozart, Dvorak, Bach, Seger, Handel...many old favorites that were background music in my home growing up were played in huge stone buildings...and that was a real treat.

Evening...Can you hear the classical music coming from stone cathedrals? It is absolutely beautiful! |

I wish I could hear the music. I didn't appreciate it at the time, but hearing Mom play Beethoven on the piano while I did homework upstairs in my room was pretty special.
ReplyDeletePrague also special. Great photos. Thanks. How were those nine hours on the bed in the train?
