Goodbye to Krakow and A Welcome Home

Today I decided I'd better get back to my writing assignments, so I went to my favorite cafe at 9:30 am, set up my computer, ordered a hot chocolate and got to work on my assignment for my writing teacher...due Monday, April 18th.

Best hot chocolate ever!

At noon I ordered lunch, and at 3:00 I ordered a raspberry tart with whipped cream and a cappuccino.

At 3:30 I had two essays done and headed out for a final look at the Market Square and areas around the main part of Krakow. The sun was shining, a rare occurrence during my stay here, and the trees were fringed with unfurling leaves. I've definitely experienced an ending of winter and the new beginnings of spring.

Sunny days bring out the best in everyone!
The Park that Surrounds the City Center...finally greening up!

Goodbye to Mamie, Amos and Nikki (snuggled at her feet)...
my cab arrived at 4:00 AM...Sorry!
Thinking of Gretchen at the duty free shop in Amsterdam.
I've NEVER seen so many fragrances in one place! (or, by the way,
so much security in an airport)
After eight hours in the air, The Rockies are a welcome sight...one more hour to go.
My journey was all I had hoped for.
Flowers from a friend  make me feel glad to be back home again
as I unpack my collection of handprinted wooden eggs.

Carpe Diem
