| What! Sun in Portland? |
My niece Sylvia and her two children, Nikko 9 months and Alden 3 years, are visiting me in Portland. We have been busy! No "ordinary" anything has been had! We've been to the zoo and the parks, the toy stores and the drug stores, Trader Joes, Peter and Hope's, the bathtub, the downtown fountain, and the list goes on! Gramma Ruffie had ten hours sleep last night in the neighbor's apartment (thank goodness she chose this week to go to Mexico!) Here are a few photos to give you an idea of the fun we're having.

Everything is crooked and messy! But I have my book and beer.
Sylvia is ready to clean up another spilled milk. |

| Hope offered the Little Red Wagon...a blessing! |

| Alden is all about finding friends! |
That's it...NO time for organizing or writing. We're heading for the Children's Museum on the train!
Thanks for the photos! I know where each was taken!
ReplyDeleteFun in Portland!
How fun!
ReplyDeleteHi, Ru,
ReplyDeleteI am so "there" w/ all the photos....but how about the aerial tram?....and the hospital masks? ...
Maybe next time. So much to do with growing minds in Portland...esp young minds like yours!
Thank you for being us along.
Shush! Don't say anything about the tram! Gramma Rufie could not have done ONE MORE THING! But I promise you, the other three could have! Talk about gung ho!!!!
ReplyDelete"My best to you..." We're still singing the wonderful lullabies you recorded while we were there and relishing in the stories of our adventures. Alden's favorite part in all three lullabies is when you say, "Good night Alden, good night Niko, good night Sylvia, good night Grandma Ruffie." Alden laughs every time and we have to play it again.
ReplyDeleteHow sweet is that! I wish I could be there in person! Hummmm....one last road trip?
ReplyDeleteJust kidding, I think.
Ru--
ReplyDeleteIf you are thinking road trips, please add us to your possibilities.
