Pacific Ocean at Daybreak

Inhaling
Undulating
Her pewter skin
Shrouds the mysteries of the deep.
A wave pipe swells,
Collects momentum
And thunders south
Splitting open
In an explosion of snowy glitter
And collapsing.
The litter of forgotten skeletons
Whirls
Into the slur of plankton.
Phosphorescence,
Like electrified synapses,
Ignites sneaker waves
Unearthing and exposing
Buried remnants.
It’s all chaos.
Or is it?
